The articles on insulin resistance and Alzheimer’s reminded me of something that I was taught in the 1990s. I was told then that people with Down syndrome tended to get Alzheimer’s in their 40s.
I just googled about Down syndrome and insulin resistance and found this:https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1177940/
I wonder if it’s insulin resistance and not the Down’ syndrome directly that makes Alzheimer’s more likely?

Also I wonder if a dietary intervention of some type to lower insulin levels would help?
