“Meat of domestic/ marshy/ aquatic animals honey, sesame, jaggery, milk black gram, daikon radish, lotus stalk, germinated grains (sprouted grains)
Causes deafness, blindness, tremors, coldness, indistinct voice, nasal voice or death”
Does this mean fish cannot be eaten with daikon radish? It is a popular combination in Goa, a costal region in India!
Also, is honey and milk a bad combination? It is often used as a topping on pancakes made with milk ðŸ˜¦

Fish should not be eaten with Daikon. You will find things being done all over India that is not Ayurvedic. The amount of people that actually know Ayurveda here is limited. Goa is not really India, would you agree?
Honey and milk is fine, just not heated. So hot pancakes, no honey.

Hello Brad,
What do the following lines mean?
“Meat of domestic/ marshy/ aquatic animals honey, sesame, jaggery, milk black gram, daikon radish, lotus stalk, germinated grains (sprouted grains)
Causes deafness, blindness, tremors, coldness, indistinct voice, nasal voice or death”
Do you mean that we should not consume the above items together or in some combination of items? What about cooking all meat and veggies in sesame oil then? Is that okay? Thanks!

    Namaskar.
    AD,
It is amazing what one word out of place can do to a whole sentence. It should read “Meat of domestic/ marshy/ aquatic animals with honey….
What about cooking all meat and veggies in sesame oil then? In tilatailum? it is not the best oil as it is heavy. All foods are changed throughout the seasons, oils to cook with as well. Ghee is a better oil for many reasons. Sunflower or whatever is locally grow is good as well.
