1. Vitamin C helps reduce histamine overload
2. Vitamin C also helps with 'sea-sickness'. So, at sea, it must be histamine overload which must be affecting sailors. And when they take 'vitamin c', the histamine overload must be coming under control.

Vodka: Huuuuuge NO NO, first off potatoes kick my ass in a major way and vodka is made from potatoes so that should of been a no brainer for me.

This is another example of how we are all so different. I personally can drink vodka all night and feel totally fine but then I have no reactions to potatoes so that could probably be it. I do take an extra dose of Vitamin C after and thats about it.
